If you think there is a drop in price on an ex-div stock after 6 months, well I wont waste my time there......
Semi-annual yield is certainly acceptable. Dividend strippers are only interested in THIS div, not the sum of this and the one in 6 months.
Try buying a rental property where the tenants pay rent in 6 month lump sums, and tell us you would pay the same price for the property a week before payment as a week after.
