Rough and dirty: CBA lowest payout ratio in last ten years was 65% of EPS. Usually around 77% and sometimes as high as 90%+. Last year EPS was 344 cents.
EPS this year given need to presumably increase provisions and payout ratio given need to presumably bolster capital??
My worst case 65% of 310 cents = 7.2%; but could easily be much higher: say 70% of 320 cents = 8%.
All fully franked of course.
So given cash will probably be 3% next year...I bought yesterday.
