No they don't know what they are doing Im not sure about you but this was me too up until a few years ago. I hadn't spent time to understand the financials. Often I just looked at trailing yield and thought 'thats good'. Regarding WHC. A lot of people are just seeing "profits down 85% from last year" and selling the news. There are a lot of bots that do this and a lot of retail as well.
I think this will happen to NHC to a certain extent as well. People are already selling down NHC due to the decrease in profits of WHC. This will continue next quarter when the price goes from $221AUD to $190AUD or less... For me between now and FY results there are going to be some good opportunities.
