Via AFR, Bell Potter now speculating that Bendigo's recent hire of David Foster (former CEO of Suncorp Bank) increases the chance of a Banking unit trade sale to Bendigo.
This would be the doozy. Huge surplus capital return plus would see a PER re-rate to something closer to IAG, which trades a number of number of turns higher
