I don't think the dividend is that much of an incentive when there is no guidance about how much of it will be payable in cash to Aust domiciled holders. The fund had only about 5% cash at 31st December so although I have opted for cash I expect nearly all my dividend to be reinvested. To realise the income I expect to have to sell some or all of the shares received in the DRP.
The discount to asset backing was the stock's main attraction for me on the possibly rash assumption that pressure would ultimately induce the manager to seriously attempt to narrow the discount. I can't see much sign of that at present though.
