Have to agree 5 cents. Oilers hate paying out to shareholders, but after last year they really are committed to match the 5 cents.
Plus NZ companies aren't seen as credible/acceptable if they are not paying divi's. Need to build that investment reputation as they may yet want to raise equity for a company making deal - Salisbury has ambition, but is in no rush.
A gross div yield of 4.5% isn't too bad.
