Financial year 2022 marked our first full year of
ownership of MLC, which contributed to our 59%
increase in underlying net profit after tax. During the
year, $124 million of annualised synergies were realised
and $78 million in savings were reflected in the full-year
result. The synergy target will be largely realised by the
end of the first half of financial year 2023
