Coal exports are proceeding at full steam. My estimate is that for July 2022 , the Port of Newcastle will see some 50 bulk carriers leave this week.
While NHC should have exported about 4,200,000 tonnes from Feb-July incl.
Based on WHC's average price of A$360 per tonne that could deliver some A$1.5 Billion in gross revenue.
But NHC are active in writing off, provisioning, amortising etc so as to limit dividends. Based on NHC's history of dividends I don't think a payout of more than 50% of PAT is likely.
