The previous buyback expired on the 30th Apr when they'd bought approx 90% the maximum ($90m from $100m) over the 8 months $11.25m p.m.
The new buyback started on the 13th May & they'd bought back $7m out of a maximum $100m by the 30th Jun, $4 .7m month over 1.5 months.
However the share price did spend a longer period at a lower level under the old buyback.
I think you're drawing a long bow connecting buybacks & exec pay.
