If BFG maintains the 5.50c PS dividend for the current HY result, I assume we will see a rise and appreciation in Share price leading to this gift of more than 6% return on current SP.
The Australian market struggles for growth and many investors will try to harvest easy Dividend money with less tax on profits with the franking.
There are a few weeks before BFG goes EX Div, I will not be surprised to see an appreciation towards the Aud 1.00 mark
