Informedia has declared a special Dividend this year of 3.5 cents. With the normal Dividend of 3.4 cents the Dividend this year is now 6.9 cents with the same likelihood next year. That looks pretty good to me. With new contracts with Izus and mazda things are certainly looking up for IFM.

INFOMEDIA TO PAY 3.5 CENT SPECIAL DIVIDEND
Electronic catalogue and sales specialists Infomedia Ltd (IFM) is to pay a fully franked special
dividend of 3.5 cents per share on top of the fully franked 3.4 cents in ordinary dividends
already paid to shareholders over the course of this calendar year.
This dividend is payable on 15 December 2005 to shareholders on the register at 15
November 2005.
Announcing this today at the Company’s Annual General Meeting, Richard Graham,
Chairman, said that this special dividend payment utilises approximately 50% of the
Company’s balance of franking credits and that the decision to pay the special dividend
followed a review of Infomedia’s capital requirements and reflected the Company’s profitable
and strong cash generating business. He indicated that the 3.5 cent special dividend would be
paid from existing cash reserves and, in part, from drawing upon an existing unutilised bank
facility.
Richard Graham also reported that it is the intention of the Board to consider a further fully
franked special dividend distribution over the course of the next year pending the realisation of
shareholder value locked up in non-core assets such as the Company’s real estate holdings at
Frenchs Forest.
