Even as a short-mid term investor I would love a dividend annoucnement...made a handsome profit on OST because of the dividend annoucement (the price run up after the announcement was much greater than the actual dividend)...
Also keeping investors attached to the stock lessens selling pressure leading to greater price run ups...
There should be enough cash for a 1 cent dividend...
However there won't be a dividend because the directors do not hold enough of their own companies stock...they will keep the cash so they can give themselves a pay rise at their next acquisition...
The only dividend I see is a cash takeover coming from the Chinese who are keen on gold producers...They can have my shares for 8-10 cents...
