As an investor , you want your capital to earn the highest rate of return. If the dividends amm gave you were able to get a roc of 40-50 like voc, then well done, otherwise it is best for the company to use it for growth and reinvest it at the roc for the compunding effect. Voc would not have been in the position of making the offer for amm if it were giving cash out to shareholders who may not have made best use of capital.
