Basically, the "specialist" said you pay the tax when you receive the funds.
he did say, however, that may vary depending on your circumstances - eg, individual, company, trust, whatever - but in my particular circumstances, he said pay the tax in the FY it arrives (09/10).
i do see the point though about one statement for multiple distributions..... cross that bridge when i come to it i guess :)
