    I wouldnt mind to lodge the claim for 08/09 tax so may be i can get some tax refund so it doesnt matter either way.

    The way i understand is you pay tax once you recieve the income but i am no accountant so i guess i can be wrong.

    Well BJT took over 4k tax out of my 5k distribution coz i forgot to submit TFN so i wouldnt mind to get it back now instead of next yr tax return.
