hahaah - good point BVW.... i'll take direction from the ATO - if they got it wrong, i have a reference number etc to quote them.... the "specialist" actually said to me "look, as long as you pay the tax, whether its last fy or this fy, thats what matters".
and we're not talking about the national debt here either..... i think they have bigger fish to grill :)
