Dividend Skimming - Great idea in theory, much harder in practice.
I've done it myself and I've also watched plenty of others trade in & out of shares capturing the dividends.
In the end I've done a lot better just holding.
The other guys mostly just paid a ton of brokerage and didn't really achieve a lot, plus wondering about the ATO making a fuss at tax time.
My thoughts - Give it a go and post up your results in a couple of years time.
