I think there is a difference, the ato link refers to the asx " special " market.
ie , it targets people buying cum divi shares ( primarily sourced from foreigners) , after the shares are normally ex divi.
All transactions above are in the normal market.
There has to be something wrong with what I am talking about , but I dont think that link explains it.
