Would someone please explain dividend stripping? My understanding is that u sold ur shares after it went ex-div.
Does the share go ex-div @ 4 PM Sydney time?
People seem to be dumping TAH shares before 4PM.
My understanding is that u qualify for franking credits if u held the shares for 45 days.
I've read an article that says that u need to hold the shares for 45 days after the shares go ex-div. Is that correct ?
