Telstra CEO David Thodey said this last week at the investor presentation.
"But I also want to make it clear that because of our strong free cash flow, Telstra can self-fund our fiscal year 2011 investments and maintain a 28 cent dividend without having to alter our balance sheet settings, should the board resolve to pay 28 cents."
