Yes, I think you miss heard and the date given was the pay date. More important that the dividend stays solid anyway, just a nice to know about the dates.
I'm investing in QBE the same way, although I need to take the divvys to pay the debts. But QBE, along with WES and a few banks are the cornerstones of my portfolio, and I intend to hold long term. I have no doubt I'll see a doubling plus of the share price from these levels at some stage. By my sums, the yield is 10.4% at todays price.
