I am not sure the company pays dividends via cheque.
Infact as I never originally supplied them with my bank account details I never was paid the 2007-08 dividend until three weeks ago. It actually turned up at the VIC State revenue office. I was notified by a solicitor and another organisation that I had lost money and they could recover it for a fee both charging me about $150 of what I had lost.
I did a littly bit of investigating myself and the state revenue office paid it directly to me without a fee. As mentioned it turned out to be the OZL 2007-08 Divi.
I since contacted the share register and gave them my bank account details. The 2010 dividend of 3 cents was then paid directly into my bank account.
