I sold out of bbg after they made the debt funded acquisition of the Canadian business from memory they paid 100m for not much in the way of earnings thereby reducing their roe and increasing their liquidity risk. Look at the decline in the performance of the business over the past few years, a take over offer is wishful thinking. The market is pricing bbg accordingly. Expect writedowns and a capital raising if things don't improve soon.
