I'm not convinced that Lend Lease wont want a dividend. My thinking is that they will want the cash flow, particularly in this environment to make their balance sheet look as strong as possible.

And what is the downside for Lend Lease...let's say they pay a dividend and BBC comes under more financial pressure...the share price takes a further slide...Lend Lease come in and buy the balance from shareholders for next to nothing.

Also, if a good dividend is paid, then short term the share price will get support IMO. This will minimise any balance sheet impact to Lend Lease in considering the value of their investment at balance date.
