Because the decision to suspend dividends is a very difficult one to make, methinks its a decision for an extended period, not just 6mths. I think if conditions stay the way they are, they will be rewarded more for prudent paydown of debt or cash conservation, than paying dividends. I dont see the point in suspending dividends & then reinstating them only a short time later, especially if economic & financial conditions remain as they are. Last time I checked, they have gotten worse????
