It is also worth noting that the dividend is fully franked - meaning, if an investor or fund holds for the dividend and they made a loss for the financial year (I'm sure that may apply to a few people and funds out there) then they can claim the 30% tax that has been paid by SSM, back from the tax office. So effectively it makes it about a 4.5c interim dividend.
With their income for the next half year being secured there is no obvious reason why there shouldn't be a final dividend. So for the year you can look at a very fine yield at the current sp.
