Friday is the AGM. I am still in China and could not attend.
Is anyone attending the AGM.
I have brought up the issue of dividends and buybacks during OM Investor Access in Singapore on 14 March 2018 and told that due to bank covenants, OM is unable to pay dividends.
Those attending the AGM, please help to bring up the matters again.
Buyback will "anchor" the prices when prices depresses. It is also good for exiting shareholders to liquidate and existing shareholders to have a higher EPS. This will also show the public the confidence of the Management on the direction of OM.
The example to quote is S32. They are doing daily buybacks.
If possible, please also mention whether OM could increase the liquidity, may be through placement or other corporate actions.
At least OM could, in conjunction with the lawyers, company secretary and investor relation to have some more write ups, if possible through announcement to gain more awareness.
