Have been thinking of adding a few more of these. Emailed a query about the dividend outlook a few years down the track.
My Query:
"Are you able to tell me whether it is part of the company's outlook to be a dividend payer within the next 2-3 years?
Does Salinas offer to provide a cashflow eventually to those buying shares now, or will it focus completely on funding new growth opportunities, and seek to reward shareholders through share-price capital gain alone?"
finance director's reply:
"It is unlikely Salinas will be a dividend payer in the near term and we are really trying to focus on growth rather than creating a dividend stream. Of course – things do change and if Salinas grows significantly over the next few years – we may implement a dividend policy."
