the reality is people even with experience dont know what is conservative when entering a new market paradigm. because they orient from the old one. and shareholders who didnt see the change coming themselves then bleat about 'why didnt they see it'.
re ozl - not sure which particular bit you are referring to?
but ozl certainly havent been conservative until this point. that board - certainly under form er md - was one of the worst at judging market direction in the past 5 years. thats part of why they managed to turn a 40 share price into 3.60.
possibly the new MD will see straighter. But its always easy to see clearly when you come in fresh inside the down leg.
