Good to see you are still bringing things like this up Rebel1. Always makes for good debate on the site.
I think it would simply come down to how much profit they make and how much of that they wan't to retain for the business. Considering debt has hurt them so badly of late I would have thought they might want to get some cash behind them.
Maybe a figures person who knows BLY might be able to do some numbers on things like, if they make $100m profit and retain 50% etc and give out 50% in dividends etc how much we might get. I'm not too sure on what sort of profit levels we could expect and how much the company normally retains etc so I would be a fair bit out in any estimates and woudl probably be two general.
Somebody made a good point the other day as a way to pay yourself a dividend is as the stock rises sell a small fraction of your holding etc. I thought that was a good thing to learn.
