dividends

I was spending the day with mama today and started explaining the whole ADO story to her (she has a small holding based on my recommendation) and her eyes lit up. She asked me if she could borrow money to buy more, and I said I've already got it all in there. But then she asked an interesting question, "when do you sell" which to us wannabe investors is, "what's your exit strategy" so I thought for a moment, and couldn't come up with a target price that I would sell at, because the uses of M&G are so wide and complex, and so I dont know what new uses there could be for it that we have not explored yet. Then it hit me, maybe there isn't one... DIVIDENDS!!

The longer term holders have discussed this before, but I often brushed it off. But with only 800m shares on issue, what happens if the company makes $80m profit after tax and R&D etc, thats 1c a share, $160m is 2c a share, thats enough for most of the faithfuls to retire on (if they haven't already). I just wanted to ask what some of the thoughts on this are.
