- 14c
- 19c
- 22c
- 24c + 3c SD
- 26c
- 28c + 12c SD
- 28c + 6c SD
- 28c
- 28c
- 28c
- 28c
- 28c
- 28c
- 28c
- 29.5c
- 30.5c
- 31c
- 15.5c (first half)
Except for 2000 the standard dividend has never gone lower than previous year. Up until December half 2017 Telstra has returned $5.185 in normal dividend and 27 cents in special dividend for a whopping total of $5.455
My point is even though share price has dropped recently - the dividends continue to be consistent. So if share price finished at 4.16 today - and if purchase of Telstra was today, then return on investment by way of dividends would be 31/4.15 = 7.47% fully franked
In today's interest rate environment this is massive
