yeh problem my mate has is he earns about 180k pa. she might get 75% of house and other assets then sort out the super but child support website from centrelink says that he only has to pay her 186/wk/child x 3 based on her earning 0 and him earning 180k. he potantiall could eng up with say 70k plus around 1500/wk leftover after splitting assets and paying say 600/wk child support. somehow i don't think her lawayers will let him get away with that.
out of it all she will likely get 280-300k lump sum + 600/wk. he's not looking forward to finding out what might happen to his 1500/wk in terms of being able to provide a decent house for the 3 kids to come and stay at 2 or 3 nights per week.
