Is it just me, or is everyone getting divorced these days? Either l'm in the divorce capital of the world or its become a national pandemic. Almost once a week my daughter comes home from school and tells me of another kid whose parents have split. I feel like l'm from another era, say the 1940's because l'm still married. These parents are running off with new found 'loves' who have more baggage than an airport. Nobody has girlfriends or boyfriends these days either, they're all 'partners' now. I think it sounds more sophisticated. Maybe we should get long service for those who can stick it out, not sure in what form, money would be good in recognition for all the hard work that comes with marriage.
