Their first tax payment is in February 2023 for the taxable income generated to 30 June 2022 (they used up all their c/f tax losses so had tax to pay)
That means they are paying tax on all earnings from 1 July 2022
They will also be paying monthly PAYG instalments based on the tax paid for 2022 starting once the 2022 tax return is assessed so most likely a catch up payment of PAYG in the March instalment notice
