In case you guys missed it, GO believes that as activity on HC about a particular stock increases the chances of it being pumped then dumped is increased.

I see where he is coming from, I've seen it happen. Coincidence or not is up in the air. For instance if I was a big player looking for a stock to pump and dump I'd certainly be looking at stocks that have high retail investor activity.

I would also however be looking for stocks that had high liquidity so I could exit my pumped position with ease without lowering the SP much while I did it.

MHM is easy to pump, just buy 500,000 shares or so. Exiting in a reasonable short time is hard, you have to do it in small 10,000 share chunks or so. All the time someone else could come along and dump 200,000 shares and possibly lower the SP before you exited (even though someone did and it didn't lower it much at all). You would be better off just buying $500,000 worth and let it pump itself over the next 6 months.

There are heaps better candidates for that sort of activity and I'm sure many of us know which stocks they are.
