1057 [Dow Jones] News China wants to explore, mine uranium in Australia throws focus on
companies operating in Northern Territory, given bans in Western Australia, Queensland,
confusing signals from South Australia. Federal government has control of approvals for
mining in NT, and it's strongly backing industry expanding production, exports.
China needs fuel to feed major reactor construction program underway. Junior operating
in NT, which could be subject of Chinese interest, include Deep Yellow (DYL.AU).
