DJ MARKET TALK: Redbank Mines Soars; Intercepts Copper
2342 GMT [Dow Jones] Redbank Mines (RBM.AU) soars to 22 cents then eases, last up 6 cents, or 44%, at 19.5 cents on heavy trading of 17.3 million shares. Jump follows report of copper pipe discovery at Punchbowl prospect at its namesake project in Northern territory, with intercepts including 59 meters assaying 1.6% copper. RBM says drilling at Bluff prospect, news of which sparked share price rally earlier this month, confirms geometry, consistency of copper mineralization, with intercepts of 61 meters at 2.7% copper, 30 meters at 3.4%. RBM identifies 15 potentially mineralized breccia pipes on tenements, which will be progressively drilled, in turn providing further trading opportunities.
