Anybody know why the DOW has rallied to being only 178 pts...

Anybody know why the DOW has rallied to being only 178 pts (1.56%) down..was expecting a bloodbath from all the doom in gloom postings??

I think possibly people are seeing a bottom.

It did not reach as far down as July lows, so people are buying into the bounce heavily.

It will need to be seen whether this is a dead cat bounce and it will reach new lows, or whether it will be taken as the turning point and the market will move up from here.

Riveting stuff though!
