It only helps if you get Covid pretty soon after you get the vaccination though as it's efficacy deteriorates, that's why boosters are now being rolled out. After most got double jabbed we are now being told its not adequate protection and require a booster. It feels as if my double jab was pointless as there was no Covid spread in the community in the 6 months since I got jabbed, nor could I travel anywhere interstate or overseas. Now that Covid is everywhere and spreading fast my double-jab isn't much more protection than being un-vaccinated apparently!
