is it because DJW has been slowly transferring its assets through dividends.
ie by paying higher dividends it's effectively been paying dividends out of capital.
look at the 1yr 3yr 5yr and 10yr charts all terrible.
compare that to the 1yr 3yr and 10yr asx 200.
In DJW management tables they highlight Total returns including dividends, but there is not much point receiving dividends if ones capital is slowly eroding
