There are at least 3 strategies to minimise the impact of dilution in the pumped brine:

1. Putting the extraction wells and the reinjection wells far away. This can be seen in Kachi process sheet below:

3. Gradually modifying the depth from where you're pumping brine.

Good to see someone that has the depth of knowledge in the related technical and conceptual detail commenting on these threads. Too few and far between IMO! We have to trawl through a lot of rubbish on here to get to anything meaningful.
