you use it the same way as if they weren't,
the chart is no gaurantee but provides increased probability,
Fundamentals are critical but to use them in isolation of technical input is like walking around with one eye shut.
If a stock fits a chart pretty snuggly its not because somone made it fit, its because it is moving in sinc with the trends and ranges.
