Some of us trade and really enjoy the day to day / can take the heat / make a better return than sitting and waiting. It certainly isn't for all but it is for me. I'm certain there would be heaps of big and small players using DMP for short terming, its a no brainer.
Also got long term holdings but I'm chasing bigger earnings than 2-3 x share price in however many years.
Go hard or go home I say. Only in it to retire earlier and long terming DMP isn't going to send people to retirement with life changing money.
Fundamental certainly takes precedence in everything but TA has its place too particularly the short terming crew! Without the day to day traders you wouldn't have a market.
