Most of us have no doubt that good or bad news for Dendreon is likely to positively or negatively impact Prima's share price (unless bad news is totally unrelated to the therapy, approvals or how good the drug/technology is.

Prima saw SP changes along with Dendreon back in April 2009 when they announced that their data was "a clear hit" and "unambiguous" but can anyone recall what (news if any) occured around Oct 2009 when Prima saw it's biggest surge upto around the 28c mark ?

Prima did not have price sensitive news at that time.
Dendreon didn't seem to have anything particularly special going happening.

The only thing I can see is that in late September there was a "Change in substantial holding" (Freedman> BUY) and then anohter one after the speeding ticket (Freedman> SELL SOME). Maybe it was the fact that Mr Freedman increased his holding that generated some interest, but find it hard to see how such a surge would happen because of that. After all he did not long ago increase his holding once again but no surge followed.

Thoughts anyone ?
