Pfizer Misses Estimates, and Shares Slide.

Pfizer, the world's biggest drug maker, said fourth-quarter profit missed analysts' estimates on costs from its acquisition of Wyeth and projected lower-than-expected earnings in 2010.
This is a net positive for the Dendreon's and Prima's of this world.
It's very simple.
One of Pfizer's major concerns is that it is set to lose billions in revenue when its top-selling cholesterol pill (Lipitor) faces generic competition next year.
So, it would only be logical to argue that Pfizer would be looking at how it can maintain its "top line".
How serious is Pfizer? Serious enough to dish out $68 Billion for Wyeth last October.
This is why companies like DNDN/PRR et al. IMO are a hot stock!
