Bigger plant means more funding. It is not easy for a new technology to get big funding. The key is to find the optimum balance between small enough to not be difficult to build and large enough to be economical. Once a train is established and the company has some cash flow and proven the technology works, it can always add new and bigger train. Then the funding will come easily. I think the DFS will likely touch on possible ways of expansion, but I doubt it will be explored much. The focus is still to get this plant built. A new plant is rarely built to its ultimate capacity right at the start. Almost never actually.
