Since the 6c dividend was announced (subject to shareholder approval), the purchase price has increased by 10M and the FX rate movement added a similar amount. In the falling market, with rig costs plummeting, there is scope to increase the return and meet the same work program. However, OEL are well aware that a pure exploration company will be valued less than a producers may be able to hand back to investors and find other opportunities.
