Hi,
I am thinking of transferring my WES shares to my spouse which I understand will be considered for CGT. However, I would like to find out whether or not my wife would still be qualified for the Coles share upon its demerger from Wesfarmers. I am not clear whether its those shareholders who held WES shares at the time of the demerger announcement are qualified for Coles shares or those who hold WES shares when the demerger actually occurs?
I wouldn't like to miss out on Coles shares just by transferring shares to spouse.
