However on first perusal you haven't allowed for interest received on $2700 while its sitting in the bank (assuming 12 months) since I've forfeited 2 divs.)
And I'm slightly puzzled (not an unusual situation) since you postulate an ongoing discrepancy re divs. Since you example retains the original 1000 shares vs the 2700 I now hold I can't see how I am disadvanted re dividend stream.
